Terms of Service
Last updated: March 14, 2026
1. Overview
ReclaimRight provides research and claim assistance services to help individuals recover excess funds held by county offices following property sales. By using our website or services, you agree to these terms.
2. We Are Not Attorneys
ReclaimRight is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We provide research and claim preparation services. All legal filings and court proceedings are handled by licensed attorneys in your state. We coordinate with these attorneys on your behalf.
3. No Guarantee of Recovery
While we conduct thorough research to identify potential excess funds, we cannot guarantee that funds exist or that a claim will be successful. The existence of excess funds depends on county records, competing claims, and applicable state laws.
4. Contingency Fee
Our services are provided on a contingency basis. You pay nothing upfront. If we successfully recover funds on your behalf, our fee is a percentage of the recovered amount as outlined in the service agreement you sign before we begin work. If no funds are recovered, you owe nothing.
5. Your Responsibilities
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Respond to requests for documentation in a timely manner
- Not misrepresent your identity or relationship to a property
- Cooperate with the claims process as needed
6. Accuracy of Information
The information on our website, including county data and estimated fund amounts, is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Actual fund availability and amounts are subject to verification with county records.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of ReclaimRight and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReclaimRight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees actually paid by you to us.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time before a claim is filed. Once legal proceedings have begun, termination is subject to the terms of your signed service agreement.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
